Ohio State ROTC Welcomes New Professor of Military Science and Leadership

The Ohio State Army ROTC is happy to announce Lt. Col. James Bunyak as the new commander and Professor of Military Science and Leadership. Lt. Col. Bunyak is joined here at Ohio State by his wife, Rae Bunyak and their two children Dylan and Ryann.

Lt. Col. Bunyak is a Distinguished Military Graduate from Frostburg State University (in Maryland). He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and was commissioned as an Ordnance officer. He has served at Fort Stewart, Georgia,  Fort McPherson, Georgia, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Fort Carson, Colorado and has been deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

We wish Lt. Col. Mike Lear, the departing commander, the best of luck in the future as he earns a well-deserved retirement. He left the Buckeye Battalion in excellent condition.
