Army ROTC Cadets Post Colors at Nationwide Insurance Veterans Day Event

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, five cadets participated in the Nationwide Insurance Veterans Day program in downtown Columbus. Joined by Professor of Military Science and Leadership, Lt. Col. Jim Bunyak, the cadets posted the colors and then listened to the keynote speaker, Command Sgt. Maj. Philip Johndrow, discuss leadership and mentorship. Johndrow is the former command sergeant major of the 1st Cavalry divsion, deploying to Iraq during the surge in 2007-2008.

The event was planned and coordinated by two members of the Ohio State Army ROTC Alumni Society that are also Nationwide associates; Jon Rust and Doug Huber.
